The 4D3N Komodo private boat route published for Carnaby 1 adds Rinca, Gili Lawa Darat, Siaba Besar and Mawan to the classic stops, so there is time to talk between swims. Whole boat from IDR 85,000,000 (≈ USD 5,215) on Carnaby 1 or IDR 148,000,000 (≈ USD 9,080) on Carnaby 2, per boat.
Run of show: four slow days
Here's the 4D3N from Carnaby 1. At four days, a reunion stops feeling like a timetable.
- Day 1: pickup and lunch on board, Kelor, a ranger walk on Rinca, Kalong at dusk.
- Day 2: Padar, Pink Beach, the ranger walk on Komodo Island, Taka Makassar and Gili Lawa Darat.
- Day 3: a drift snorkel at Manta Point, then Siaba Besar and Mawan.
- Day 4: a swim and snorkel at Kanawa, then back at Labuan Bajo; the return time is confirmed in writing.
Where the boat spends the night depends on the weather and the captain's decision that day. Stops and their order can change with traffic, weather and tides; the captain decides on the day.

Stops the shorter routes never reach
Rinca, Gili Lawa Darat, Siaba Besar and Mawan appear on the 4D3N and on no shorter route. They don't get pages of their own here, because the route gives their place in the day and little more.
For a reunion, what they add is breathing space. Day 3 is three snorkel stops with no walk, and day 4 is Kanawa alone, so some mornings have nothing steep in them at all. Older relatives can stay on deck while the younger ones swim.
The 4D3N price for 8, 14, 16 and 21
Eight guests on Carnaby 1 pay IDR 90,000,000 (≈ USD 5,521) for the whole boat, IDR 11,250,000 (≈ USD 690) each. Fourteen pay IDR 95,000,000 (≈ USD 5,828), or IDR 6,790,000 (≈ USD 417) each. On Carnaby 2, sixteen guests pay IDR 153,000,000 (≈ USD 9,387), which is IDR 9,560,000 (≈ USD 587) each, and twenty-one pay IDR 164,000,000 (≈ USD 10,061), or IDR 7,810,000 (≈ USD 479) each.

A reunion pace: time to talk
The organiser's note: when relatives are coming from several cities, pick one arrival day. Everyone lands the day before sailing, sleeps in Labuan Bajo and gets picked up together, which also protects you from a cancelled or delayed flight.

FAQ
Is four days too long for a reunion?
Not for relatives who rarely see each other; four days is when the talking takes over from the timetable. The 4D3N spreads the stops over four days, with a swim-only day 3. Parties that want one big day and a toast fit the 3D2N better, from IDR 70,000,000 (≈ USD 4,294) on Carnaby 1.
What does the 4D3N cost for 16 people?
Sixteen people need Carnaby 2 and its 13 to 16 band: IDR 153,000,000 (≈ USD 9,387) for the whole boat, which is IDR 9,560,000 (≈ USD 587) per person. Park fees, guide and documentation are extra.
Does Carnaby 2 sail the same 4D3N route?
No. Carnaby 2 lists a 3D2N route only. For its 4D3N the stops are agreed with you before you pay. The route on this page is the one published for Carnaby 1.
